HOMELESSNESS

My homeless friend of 12 years
My friend is still homeless, so I will continue to write about homelessness and bring awareness to the problem until she gets a permanent home. I’ve written about Joann before, and you can read those posts here: http://www.thebelieveplay.blogspot.com/2013/09/purpose.html
Homelessness affects African-Americans at higher proportions than others, and African-American organizations, sororities, and fraternities must take on this issue. I again appeal to my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, to invite professionals and experts in this field to a meeting during this sorority year to learn what each Delta chapter can do to help eliminate homelessness for Black women! Please click on the link of the article below, which discusses homelessness among African-Americans.
